I've been eating these delectable fritters for years; whenever someone went to the Farmers' Market, they brought back fritters. Of course, except when the barn burned down; then we had to wait a bit for the fritters to come back. And, imagine that, all along I actually thought I reviewed this! I swore this was my first St Jacobs post and I went back one day to check something and, lo and behold, I have never reviewed the Fritter Co. This has now been rectified. :)

The reason why OMG exists :P |
With that kind of introduction, you may suppose that I love the Fritter Co. And I do. You bet I do. ^.^ There is the assumption that a long line is a good indication of the food. And as many must know, the line at The Fritter Co. is renowned for snaking out the door, so be prepared... and buy a whole box while you're at it ($1.25 each; 6/$6... and a better deal for a dozen). But it will be worth it. There is nothing to say about these except they're phenomenal: apple rings battered and fried until browned on the outside and then dusted in sugar. Holding on to them defeats the purpose; they need to be eaten fresh so you get that crunch on the outside and that soft, perfectly baked apple on the inside. My mouth is watering just writing it! *-*This and the cinnamon buns together = farmer market heaven.
